A little late for Christmas...

I know.

I've been such a blog slacker lately. I'm not sure why. It's not like I don't have stuff to talk about. I could update on Lindsey's amblyopia, our trip to Green Bay to watch the Packers, Christmas, New Year's, our upcoming vacation...I could go on and on.

But for now...I'll just share a few pictures.

Here's the beautiful card that Lindsey made me at school:

Front of the card from Lindsey Inside of the card from Lindsey

And their beautifully wrapped gifts:

Gifts hand wrapped from Lindsey & Sydney

which held two new dish towels, hand designed by Lindsey & Sydney.

And of course I have to share some more shots of the girls with their brother, Brice. Oh, how they miss him and it was quite a reunion on Christmas Day!

Brice is goofy!

Having fun with Big Brother!

Brice loves us!

He's the bestest brother ever!

And if you'd like to see more of our Christmas pictures, please check them out here on Flickr.

So for now, we bid you adieu and wish you a...

Happy Winter!

Stay Warm!

A mini-me, perhaps?

Overheard by my grandmother over the Christmas break, as she was watching the girls for me one day.

Scene:

Lindsey and Sydney are going to play Ants in Your Pants. Sydney is getting the game set up and trying to put the suspenders on the pants. She starts saying, "I CAN'T do this. It's too ha- ".

Then, totally cutting off her sister, Lindsey says, "SYDNEY! I don't want to hear you saying, I CAN'T! We don't say that word! You can do it. Just try!"

Oh my gosh, I just giggled when my grandma was retelling this to me, because it is EXACTLY what I say to them. I know they are always listening to me, but sometimes, it's still a surprise when they rattle off stuff that you don't think they hear or remember or understand.

On a side note, I apologize again for the long time between posts. No reason really. The girls and I just really enjoyed their time off from school and get together's with family.

One thing they were SUPER excited about was that they got to see their brother on Christmas Day! They were beyond excited! I know you'll all enjoy this picture. Their happiness is evident! I can't wait to post a few others either. They are quite humorous!

The love of little sisters...
