I can't believe I have two Kindergarteners!

First, let me apologize for the long delay between blog posts. I really have no excuse, other than day to day life getting in the way. That, and I have so many pictures and updates and I think I was just getting overwhelmed all of the things that I wanted to post about. Just getting the pics off the camera is a chore! LOL!

Onward and upward though.

I am so proud of my girls. They graduated from Pre-K on Thursday night. They had a little ceremony in the sanctuary for the Preschoolers, the Kindergarteners and the eighth graders. I was worried that my girls wouldn't even go up there, but they did, and they also went up to sing "Go My Children" with the rest of the kids! VERY proud.

One thing I noticed when I watched the video back is that Lindsey & Sydney really do fit in with others in their peer group and that makes me so happy! They've definitely made strides and caught up, at least in height, to others their age. They are still on the small end, but they certainly don't stick out as being that much smaller than the rest. Now as for weight, that's another story, but I tell you, when you get to their age, it just really isn't as noticible anymore. Lindsey is around 31.5 pounds and Sydney is about 35.5 lbs., still very small for kids nearing six years old. I really don't worry about their size or weight at all anymore, but just felt the need to comment about it since I'm seeing them more and more in line with their school friends.

I'm going to post two videos. The first are the Preschoolers getting their certificates and the second is of the girls singing (note Lindsey, she is hilarious, well they both are pretty cute!). Please forgive the poor quality of the videos. These are just from my little point & shoot camera and I had to zoom in. I don't know why I didn't just go up front!

And just a little reminiscing...here are the girls on their first day of school, August 2006. What a difference two and half years make!

My Pre-K Graduates!

Oh, and Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband! We celebrated our anniversary on Thursday with the kids at Country Kitchen before the graduation. Hopefully, we'll be able to celebrate with a nice dinner for the two of us in the near future. I truly have the most wonderful husband and father. I'm so grateful that we found each other and I can't imagine doing this whole parenting thing with anyone else! I love you, hun!

Miss Kim! You really need to do the photo blog so you can post a picture of the butterfly tree! You'll really have fun doing it, come on!

Hi Kim, found your blog when desperately searching for another mother of twins to relate to. I have 3 month old identical twin girls. Your girls are precious and seem to be doing great in school. I can't wait to find the time to read all about their little lives. Go twin mommies!! Fabulous blog!
